Homeschool

We have been formally homeschooling for three years now.  Our oldest is working one grade level "ahead" of her peers.  I do not say this to brag, but it is a reminder why we make the sacrifices we make.  I love working at our own pace...especially since we have been on "baby schedule" off an on for the past three years.

We have used McRuffy Press and My Father's World for kindergarten

We used BJU for first and second grade

I am head over heels for Readingeggs.com - my 3 year old loves it and is learning so much! She is 3 and self taught on the computer.

Our daughters participate in dance/ballet at a local dance studio.  Non-competitive - my kind of place.

They also participate in AWANA at a local church

I never worry about socialization issues because they are more social than most kids I know!
